WE ARE GREEN - and that doesn't just mean the color of our brand, but also our attitude.
Sustainability and ecological action is important to us. We do everything we can to act as environmentally conscious as possible and thus make our contribution to a better future. Thus, we are always improving our concepts for the best possible energy balance and also try to make it easy for our guests to act sustainably.
SUPPORT FOR ELECTROMOBILITY
We have 10 in-house charging stations.
(Of these, 9 are in our underground parking garage and one at the hotel entrance).
In addition, 16 TESLA Superchargers are installed in front of the hotel.
ENERGY GENERATION
Our house has environmentally friendly methods of energy production and conversion.
We have two cogeneration units for heat conversion and a photovoltaic system on the roof for energy production, which feeds into the house's electrical circuit. In addition, we have a well on the premises, whose water is used to irrigate the plants.
ENERGY SAVING IN THE HOUSE
All lighting in the house is provided by energy-saving lamps. All rooms have water-saving faucets, automatically ensuring minimal water consumption. An efficient heating system has been implemented both in the rooms and in the conference area, ensuring an optimal flow of energy. In addition, waste disposal is carried out according to an environmentally-supportive disposal system.
HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US
As a hotel, we rely on your support in some areas to be sustainable. We offer the option to forgo room cleaning to save energy. As an IHG One Rewards Member, this can earn you 500 bonus points. More information is available at the front desk upon check-in. In addition, you can use your towels more than once. Towel on the floor means "please replace", towel on the hook means you want to use it again.
IHG JOURNEY TO TOMORROW
As an IHG hotel, we are automatically part of the "Journey to tomorrow", a program of IHG that focuses on a sustainable and fair treatment of the environment. This serves the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. Part of this is the Green Engage program, which gives us as a hotel the opportunity to measure and regulate our energy consumption.
