Airbus A400M

The Berlin Air Show is the most important air and space travel industry exhibition in Germany and is one of the biggest aerospace trade fairs in the world next to the Parisian Aerosalon and the Farnborough Air Show in England. It is held every two (even) years on the Southern grounds of the Berlin Schönefeld Airport.

Three days of the trade show are resevered for trade professionals and open to a broad public on the following weekend. This is when air shows with historical and modern air-craft are held.

The trade show is accompanied by an extensive programme of conferences and discussions. Topics usually include "commercial air travel", "space travel", "defense and security", "equipment, engines, materials" as well as "general aviation".

The Berlin Air Show is hosted by the Association of the German air and space travel industry (BDLI) and the Messe Berlin GmbH.
